We’re looking for a data platform lead with a commercial mindset, ready to help our clients find out where AI fits and to play a central role in growing their business around it.
What you’ll do
In this role, you’ll advise clients on their data platform and AI choices, design the architectures, build them yourself, and lead the teams that deliver them. It’s a role that’s equal parts business-facing and technical: you’ll design and build on Snowflake, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric, and be just as at home in the client meeting.
Beyond the client work, you’ll team up with colleagues across The Tech Collective and Implement to spot opportunities, shape scopes, and help win the work. Having built these platforms makes you credible when you sell them, and selling them keeps you building what clients need. As the team grows, you’ll also help shape the offering itself: reference architectures, propositions, and people.
What you’ll bring
You’re a builder at heart. You have experience designing and delivering data platforms in at least one of Snowflake, Databricks, or Microsoft Fabric, and you can weigh them against each other. To be a great fit, it helps if you have:
A commercial mindset – you spot opportunities, shape scopes, contribute to proposals, and are comfortable in a room with senior business stakeholders
Fluency in AI and how it depends on the data platform – from data foundations and governance to taking AI use cases into production
Experience leading projects or engineering teams (e.g., as an engineering manager or tech lead) while staying close to the code
Clear communication with both engineers and executives, and the ability to turn platform choices into business decisions
A collaborative style – you develop the people around you and enjoy building something together with others
What we offer
At The Tech Collective, you’ll be part of a team that blends nerdiness, energy, and a sincere interest in people. You’ll have influence over how we grow, close sparring with experienced peers, and the chance to shape the offering as it develops.
Our culture is built on high autonomy with responsibility, co-creation, and active knowledge-sharing. You’ll work on projects across industries and disciplines – from strategy rooms to solution pilots with leading technologies. And to support your growth, we also provide internal training, keynotes, and hands-on learning across AI, data, cyber, and digital strategy.
