In this role, you will:
- Cultivate and expand complex client relationships across Colorado, serving as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders and translating business priorities into forward-looking, data-driven strategies that influence critical decision-making.
- Advise senior leadership and clients on the structuring, renewal, and optimization of complex credit solutions, including cash flow, commercial real estate, and industry-specific financings, providing strategic insight, rigorous risk assessment, and transaction leadership.
- Drive business development efforts by originating and expanding client relationships, leveraging deep market expertise, executive networks, and industry connections to accelerate revenue growth and market penetration.
- Partner with Product, Risk, and Credit leadership to influence lending strategy, inform product innovation, and align solutions with evolving client and market needs.
- Lead enterprise-wide solution delivery by aligning Wells Fargo's full suite of capabilities to client objectives, orchestrating cross-functional teams to deliver integrated and differentiated outcomes.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to leadership on high-impact initiatives, market trends, and client opportunities, influencing decisions that drive long-term growth, profitability, and client retention.
- Strengthen organizational performance through effective risk management, operational excellence, and proactive resolution of complex client matters, while representing the bank in the market and mentoring emerging talent.
- Oversee portfolio strategy, relationship planning, and pipeline management, ensuring disciplined execution, accurate forecasting, strong portfolio performance, and actionable business insights.
- 5+ years of Commercial Banking Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Deep expertise in core commercial banking solutions, including sophisticated commercial lending structures, treasury management platforms, and integrated financial services that address the complex needs of middle market clients.
- Completion of a formal credit training program, with advanced proficiency in credit underwriting, financial statement analysis, risk assessment, and complex deal structuring.
- Established professional network across Denver and the broader Colorado market, with a demonstrated ability to leverage market relationships to originate new business opportunities and expand client portfolios.
- Proven track record managing complex commercial banking relationships within the $100MM to $500MM revenue segment, delivering strategic advice and customized financial solutions to executive-level client stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to lead across organizational boundaries, mobilizing cross-functional partners and enterprise resources to deliver cohesive, client-centric solutions and strengthen long-term relationships.
- Established success driving new business growth through strategic prospecting, business development, and relationship expansion, supported by deep knowledge of the Colorado competitive landscape and market dynamics.
- Strong ability to build and sustain executive-level internal and external relationships, leveraging influence, credibility, and industry expertise to advance business objectives and drive client outcomes.
- Advanced knowledge of credit, operational, regulatory, and reputational risk management, with a proven ability to identify, mitigate, and appropriately escalate risk while ensuring adherence to enterprise governance standards.
- Exceptional executive presence, communication, and consultative influencing skills, with demonstrated success engaging senior executives, business owners, and key stakeholders in complex decision-making environments.
