Lead Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

The Engineering & Data team builds innovative tech products and platforms to support the impressive growth of their gaming and consumer apps which allow Voodoo to stay at the forefront of the mobile gaming industry.

We are looking for a Lead talent interested in creating something bigger! You will be working on highly scalable solutions, used by millions of people and will be responsible for defining the technical roadmap and solving the most complex challenges including scalability, high availability, performance, optimization & automation. You will champion the adoption of best-in-class services and technologies and will contribute significantly to improving the technical stack's future direction.

This role requires to be onsite 3 days/ week (based in Paris)

• Define and drive the availability, scalability, and performance architecture for the services environments, setting the standard for the team.

• Continual re-evaluation of existing stack and infrastructure to proactively ensure optimal performance, availability and security, and define long-term infrastructure strategy.

• Develop advanced security capabilities, and lead the strategy and implementation of security best practices and architecture changes throughout the company via evangelism and education.

• Spearhead the strategy for automating infrastructure deployment and configuration, lead the creation and standardization of CI/CD pipelines for applications, and drive CI/CD best practices across the engineering organization.

• Perform development, automation, and deployment assignments, acting as a subject matter expert and ultimate escalation point.

• Provide hands-on application development and cloud technology leadership, mentorship, guidance, and assistance to other team members.

• Control costs, forecast infrastructure needs, and be able to propose and lead the implementation of new solutions in coordination with dev teams.

• 7+ years of Linux experience including deep expertise with scripting, networks, storage, and release management.

• 5+ years in the build process and maintenance of continuous integration environment and extensive working with AWS, including complex architectural design.

• 5+ years working with Kubernetes, including managing large-scale, production clusters.

• Expert-level understanding of the infrastructure as code and immutability principles (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).

• Proven experience designing and maintaining high traffic, distributed systems architectures, and related tools (service discovery, config/secret management, etc.).

• Proficiency in any scripting language (python, bash, …).

• Ability to strategically adapt with multiple context environments and drive technical consistency.

• Deep familiarity with services & technologies used in our Stack.

• Demonstrated ability to think critically, anticipate future technical needs, and lead architectural decisions.

Nice to have:

• Supporting and optimizing data pipeline orchestration (ETL, Spark, Airflow).

• Running a distributed message broker at scale (Kafka, NATS), including operational best practices.

• Running and optimizing GPU workloads on Kubernetes.

• Supporting and scaling ML workloads in a production environment.

• Experience in golang is a plus.
