Job description:
Highly skilled and experienced Lead Architect to oversee the migration from AWS to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure OCI
This is a key leadership position that involves working closely with client stakeholders on a vast infrastructure workload
The successful candidate will be responsible for growing and leading a team of architects and engineers ensuring the successful delivery of the project
Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Team Growth Build mentor and lead a high performing team of architects and engineers at onsite and offshore to execute the migration project
Stakeholder Management Collaborate closely with client stakeholders to understand their requirements address concerns and ensure alignment with project goals
Architectural Design Develop and implement a comprehensive migration strategy from AWS to OCI including architectural design planning and execution
Technical Oversight Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the migration process ensuring best practices and industry standards are followed
Risk Management Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the project’s success
Performance Optimization Ensure the migrated systems are optimized for performance scalability and reliability in the OCI environment
Documentation and Reporting Maintain detailed documentation of the migration process and provide regular status updates to stakeholders
Qualifications
Experience 10 years of experience in cloud architecture with a strong background in AWS and OCI
Leadership Proven track record of leading and growing technical teams
Technical Expertise Deep understanding of AWS and OCI services tools and best practices
Communication Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with client stakeholders
Problem-solving Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering innovative solutions
Certifications Relevant certifications in AWS and OCI are highly desirable
Education Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
