Job Description

Coordinate and implement the pit procedures. Maintain two-way communication with subordinates to ensure awareness of new policies or procedures. Maintain a high degree of professionalism when dealing with subordinates and customers. Act as a Casino Operations Shift Manager designee at times in which may be responsible for taxable jackpots in slots.

• Adhere to guest service requirement listed above. 
• Adhere to, interpret, support, and explain established company policies and procedures as well as applicable local, state, federal and other regulatory procedures.
• Maintain a positive attitude at all times, supporting the policies of Senior Management of the casino as well as Senior Management of Ameristar Casino, Inc.
• This is a non-uniformed position, which requires the team member be in compliance with non-uniformed appearance standards while on duty
• Must maintain the strictest confidence pertaining to any and all confidential and propriatary information disclosed by an Ameristar entity or by a guest of Ameristar Casinos
• Address team member questions and concerns; conduct internal investigations as needed.
• Develop, implement, maintain, and monitor an effective team member relations program through effective communication. 

Qualifications

• Sound knowledge of casino games.
• Knowledgeable of applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• Fully Competent in Microsoft Office
• Strong problem solving, mediation, coaching, and consulting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Must have excellent business communication skills and strong time management skills.
• Ability to effectively work independently or as part of a team.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to stand a minimum of eight (8) hours.
