Leading Business Systems Solution Architect

Are you ready to take on a pivotal, high-impact role within the Verisure organization? We are seeking an accomplished Lead Architect to drive and own the architectural vision and agenda for Business Systems as part of our Technology organization, based in Malmö.  

About the Role 

As a senior leader in our Technology organization, you will set the direction for architectural excellence across the Business Systems domain. You will provide strategical direction, decisions and engage on a daily basis with our Solution Architects, who are embedded in one or more of our nine Value Streams, and the System Architects, who operate within development teams. Your mandate is to own and champion the architectural vision, ensuring alignment across teams with best practices and guiding principles within the value streams, and the broader Verisure group. 

You will lead architectural forums, coach and mentor in the organization, and act as a key point of contact for stakeholder management. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining robust architectural governance within the Business Systems organization, an organization of approximately 170 people, ensuring that standards and best practices are consistently applied. You will also represent Business Systems in dialogues at the Group level, collaborating closely with colleagues across the broader technology organization to drive alignment and foster cooperation globally. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Own and drive the architectural vision and agenda for Business Systems, setting standards and ensuring best practices across the domain 

• Analyze complex problems and suggest solutions in a clear and understandable way for stakeholders, enabling informed decisions 

• Lead and facilitate architectural forums, ensuring effective decision-making and knowledge sharing 

• Coach, mentor, and develop Solution and System Architects, fostering a culture of continuous improvement 

• Manage and influence a broad range of stakeholders, both within Business Systems and at the Group level, while actively engaging with external stakeholders and incorporating perspectives from the various markets in which Verisure operates. 

• Represent Business Systems in cross-functional and cross-regional dialogues, driving alignment within the wider technology organization at Verisure 

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Project Managers, and other leaders to ensure architectural integrity and strategic alignment 

• Actively engage in hands-on architectural work, contributing directly to the design and implementation of key solutions where needed 

About You 

You are a visionary and influential leader, passionate about architecture and technology. You thrive in complex environments, are highly structured, and possess outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills. You are committed to developing others and have a proven track record of driving architectural excellence at scale. 

Qualifications 

• University degree in Software Engineering or a related field, preferably M.Sc. 

• Extensive experience in architectural leadership roles within large-scale, modern cloud and microservice environments 

• Deep familiarity with architectural frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and modeling languages (e.g., UML, ArchiMate, C4) 

• Demonstrated experience coaching and mentoring architects and technical leaders 

• Strong background in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration 

• Experience working in a global, matrixed technology organization is a plus
