Position Summary:
Support clerical, administrative, secretarial, functions for a very busy medical office.
What you will do:
- Check in/Check out, answer phones and schedule appointments
- Manage Referrals, prior authorizations and insurance verifications
- Set team schedules
- Collaborate with Clinical Lead and Manager
- Assist with Patient grievances and support all front-end operations
What you need:
- High school graduate/ GED required
- Education and/or training as medical secretary, medical receptionist, medical assistant preferred
- Associates degree in a medical related concentration preferred
- 5 years or more in a clerical setting with vast knowledge in insurances
- Prior oversight of a team
