Job Description – Lead, Business Intelligence & Analytics
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Lead – Business Intelligence & Analytics to lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise reporting, analytics, and data integration solutions. This role will serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex business requirements into actionable dashboards, reports, and data solutions.
The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on expertise in Power BI, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, ETL, Azure SQL, and Azure DevOps (ADO), combined with leadership skills such as stakeholder management, problem-solving, influencing without authority, and driving execution across cross-functional teams. The role requires ownership of end-to-end BI solution delivery, ensuring data-driven insights support strategic business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Business Engagement & Solution Design
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, operational challenges, and reporting requirements.
- Translate business needs into meaningful dashboards, KPIs, scorecards, and self-service analytics solutions.
- Conduct workshops and requirements gathering sessions to define reporting and data visualization needs.
- Recommend analytics solutions and reporting strategies aligned with business priorities.
- Drive adoption of reporting and analytics capabilities across business functions.
Power BI Development & Data Visualization
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Build scalable semantic models and data models using Power BI best practices.
- Develop advanced calculations, KPIs, and business metrics using DAX.
- Utilize Power Query for data transformation, cleansing, and preparation.
- Implement and manage Row-Level Security (RLS) and data access controls.

Data Integration & Engineering
- Design, develop, and support complex ETL solutions using SSIS.
- Integrate data from multiple enterprise applications, databases, and cloud platforms.

- Troubleshoot and resolve ETL, data integration, and reporting issues.
- Support data warehousing and analytics initiatives.
Reporting & Analytics Platforms

Database & Cloud Technologies
- Design and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and database objects.

Agile Delivery & DevOps
- Lead Agile delivery activities including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.

- Ensure delivery milestones are achieved while maintaining quality standards.
- Drive continuous improvement through automation and Agile best practices.
