The Data Governance and Data Quality Specialist will support enterprise data governance initiatives with a focus on data asset discovery, data profiling, metadata management, and master data management (MDM). The role involves working closely with business and IT teams to improve data quality, data integrity, and metadata governance across SAP and other enterprise systems.
The candidate will help design and implement data quality frameworks, monitoring mechanisms, and governance processes to ensure reliable and consistent data across the organization.
Required Skills :
Strong experience in Data Governance and Data Quality frameworks.
Hands-on experience in data profiling, data analysis, and data quality rule definition.
Strong SQL skills for complex data analysis and validation.
Experience working with metadata management and data lineage concepts.
Understanding of Master Data Management (MDM) concepts and tools.
Experience working with SAP Master Data domains.
Knowledge of data dictionaries, metadata repositories, and governance processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including business, IT, and data stewards.
What You Will Learn:
Perform data profiling and analysis across SAP master data domains to assess data integrity and identify quality issues.
Create and maintain data quality profiling metrics and analysis documentation.
Develop monitoring mechanisms and reporting processes for tracking data quality incidents.
Create, maintain, and manage enterprise data dictionaries and metadata repositories.
Define and track metadata performance indicators and provide regular reporting to stakeholders and management.
Capture business information requirements for metadata management and data lineage tracking.
Conduct data workshops with business stakeholders to develop data strategies, data mappings, and identify data quality business rules.
Write complex SQL queries and Regex patterns for data profiling and validation.
Collaborate with IT and data teams to establish data quality standards and governance policies.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for data quality issues in collaboration with the Data Governance Lead.
Conduct gap analysis on data elements and identify improvement opportunities.
Review and validate technical processes that maintain data integrity across systems.
Work with Data Stewards and business teams to address data quality issues and ensure adherence to governance standards.
Review technical controls and security processes to safeguard enterprise data.
Analyze datasets to ensure consistency with defined data models and governance standards.
Support the technical implementation of Data Quality, Metadata Management, and Master Data Management (MDM) solutions.
Qualifications You Must Have *
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
5–6 years of experience in Data Governance, Data Quality, or Data Management roles.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
