As part of the COO Finance Business Architects Team, we are looking to build a new team to help accelerate time to insights by leveraging technology and business expertise to provide solutions for the rest of the organization. You will drive KPI definitions, enablement and tracking, dashboard design, and the delivery of quick, actionable insights into business performance.
Responsibilities- Partner closely with Sales, Sales Finance, Finance Analytics, and Central Data Teams to lead analytics projects end-to-end, leveraging the key steps of data analytics: requirement gathering, data acquisition (ETL), dashboard development, advanced analysis, presenting findings, and driving impact
- Translate complex business requirements into a roadmap with key milestones and deliverables
- Drive the definition, implementation, and ongoing tracking of end-to-end key performance metrics
- Design and develop dashboards, ensuring that data is visualized and presented in a way that drives insights and enables clear communication with the business
- Develop clear articulation of business-relevant analysis from data for all audiences, from executive-level presentations to detailed operational reports.
- Present findings to senior leaders within and outside the organization, telling a compelling story with data
- 8–12 years of relevant business experience
- Bachelor's degree required; MS or MBA preferred
- Proficient in SQL to perform data acquisition, segmentation, aggregation, and insight generation from existing data sources
- Experience with BI and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Business Objects, and QlikView
- Ability to apply analytics and systems thinking to analyze data, identify emerging trends, and transform data into actionable insights
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including hypothesis-driven testing and root-cause analysis to understand drivers of process variations
- Ability to effectively interact and communicate with all levels of management and with users possessing varying levels of technical and analytical expertise
- Demonstrated ability to drive results through influence, partnerships, and cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of programming languages and statistical packages (e.g., Python, R, SAS, JMP)
- Experience applying appropriate statistical and mathematical techniques in academic or business settings.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate the most relevant insights and recommendations effectively
- Advanced subject-matter expertise in analytics, business intelligence, and data-driven decision making
- Strong understanding of business operations and the ability to align analytical solutions with strategic objectives
- Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable analytical frameworks, metrics, and recommendations
- Experience solving highly complex business problems through structured analysis, critical thinking, and innovative approaches
- Ability to independently lead initiatives and make sound decisions with minimal guidance
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to tailor messages to audiences ranging from operational teams to executive leadership
- Demonstrated success influencing cross-functional stakeholders and serving as a trusted advisor to senior leaders
- Ability to identify best practices, interpret emerging business trends, and recommend strategic improvements
- Experience leading projects, programs, or functional teams and driving measurable business impact through data and analytics
