Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Finance Analyst, reporting to a Finance leader for the Chief Data Office.
In this role, you will:
- Prepare strategy and financial presentations and narratives for Senior Management.
- Manage technology budgeting processes, financial close, and forecast updates for the Technology organizations.
- Partner with CIOs for Chief Data Office (CDO) and/or Technology Management and Strategy (TMS) organizations to support business objectives.
- Prepare and manage business case financials for initiatives and investments within assigned organizations.
- Oversee investment plan financials and Book of Work for the Technology Chief Data Office (CDO Tech), tracking costs and benefits.
- Manage and improve cost recovery processes for CDO and TMS
- Collaborate with Technology Management and the finance team to enhance financial processes, focusing on accuracy, stability, efficiency, and transparency.
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses and provide recommendations for improvement opportunities (including streamlining processes and reporting, analyzing financial and headcount trends).
- Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement financial management solutions and toolsets aligned with industry practices.
- Support the adoption of technology finance tools through ongoing process improvements and integration within the financial data ecosystem.
- Lead the annual budgeting process, overseeing business case prioritization for technology investments and expenditures, while maintaining governance and financial transparency.
- Provide reports on key metrics and performance indicators related to the technology workforce, resource management, investment expenditure, vendor usage, and infrastructure strategy.
- Coordinate with stakeholders in Technology, Finance, CDO and TMS functions.
- 5+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Experience in Finance and/or Business Management leadership roles, with exposure to delivering insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Ability to interact with individuals on all levels across business and technology functions.
- Strong collaborative skills.
- Ability to execute effectively with tight time constraints (proficient time management) and manage multiple priorities
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- Effective communication skills with senior management; problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- 5+ years of Technology Finance experience.
- Experience with visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Business Objects).
- Self-directed approach to responsibilities.
- Experience building organizational capability, including teams, processes, and technology. Demonstrated ability to foster team engagement, customer satisfaction, and loyalty
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$119,000.00 - $224,000.00
