Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Business Aligned Finance Analyst within the Corporate and Investment Markets Chief Finance Officer (CIB Markets CFO) team. The Markets CFO team provides strategic advisory, supported by data and analysis, to the Markets Division Leadership that will drive growth, create efficiency, and define strategy. More specifically, this Lead Analyst will provide support to the Macro and FICC Financing lines of businesses within the Markets division reporting to the Macro and FICC Financing CFO.
In this role, you will:
- Lead complex initiatives on matters related to financial research and reporting as well as financial consulting related to business performance for a specific business unit, division, or product
- Provide companywide advice and technical expertise on matters related to complex financial analysis as well as economic research in support of management decision making functions
- Research strategies and make recommendations for forward financial planning in support of line of business goals
- Provide support and influence in the management of product pricing, portfolio performance, closing research and validation
- Review and analyze multi-faceted technical challenges that require evaluation or multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors
- Make decisions in maintaining effective and efficient reporting delivery that meets brand standards and internal control standards
- Lead implementation of complex initiatives impacting multiple lines of business companywide
- Meet deliverables and drive new initiatives with solid understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and mid-level to senior managers in finance and in a given line of business to resolve issues and achieve goals
- 5+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Financial services experience supporting Corporate and Investment Markets such as Macro and FICC Financing lines of businesses
- Strong analytical skills including financial metrics analysis
- Experience with disciplines such as accounting, group controllers, corporate treasury, regulatory capital, financial planning and analysis and/or product control
- Knowledge of Wells Fargo's balance sheet/product offerings
- Visual/verbal data trend presentation preparation for management reporting
- Knowledge/understanding of report analysis: emphasis on accuracy and telling a story with supporting details
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and work within a team to identify and resolve problems
- Experience with forecasting tools Essbase/Dodeca
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
- Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, AI tools
- This position offers a hybrid work schedule from our 30 Hudson Yards, NYC location.

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
$143,000.00 - $224,000.00
