Essential Functions
- Itemized check-in of delivered goods with a customer representative.
- Complete bi-weekly customer inventory.
- Create bi-weekly orders based on established inventory levels.
- Pull credits, create out-of-date memos, and issue customer credits.
- Complete merchandising resets and recommend opportunities for cross-merchandising.
- Complete one-on-one training with employees, including exceptional customer service, on-the-job safety procedures, safe driving practices, rotation procedures, and merchandising standards.
- Complete assigned Go-Spot-Check missions.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members, colleagues, and supervisors across multiple means of comm, including phone, group messaging apps, email, and in-person.
- Understanding of route operations and logistics.
- Ability to attach reasonable expectancy of tasks to normal operations and problem-solving.
- Delivery of perishable goods to customers.
- Monitor truck maintenance schedule and coordinate maintenance.
- Understanding of “Full service” and “Drop & Go service” – Boar’s Head merchandising standards, FIFO rotation, the difference between “working showcase” and “showcase,” rotation standards of key accounts.
- Proficient in understanding receiving processes/procedures for each customer as well as their effect on the back-of-house.
- Complete additional activities or special projects as assigned.
