Lead of Basketball Operations

BETER is an international sports content provider, delivering next-generation content for the sports betting industry: tournaments, data, odds, and live streams. We organize and broadcast thousands of sporting events monthly for partners worldwide, ensuring a high level of stability, transparency, and integrity. Basketball is one of the growing areas in our sports portfolio. We host our own tournaments in specially selected time slots, managing the entire event cycle - from planning to final results. 
We are seeking a Lead of Basketball Operations - a leading operations manager for our basketball operations. This role is responsible for the stable execution of basketball tournaments, compliance with regulations, the smooth operation of all involved teams, and the overall quality of the product. This is not an administrative or technical role. The Lead of Basketball Operations is a team position responsible for the efficient operation of all operational processes from the start of a tournament to its conclusion.

Responsibilities:
- Operational Management Responsibility for basketball tournaments at all locations.
- Overseeing the development of the basketball tournament calendar.
- Overseeing compliance with regulations and standards for match conduct.
- Overseeing player and team admission to tournaments.
- Handling substitutions, refusals, and disputes.
- Managing interactions with all company departments.
- Overseeing the execution of tasks on the day of the tournament.
- Promptly resolving any issues that arise.
- Collaboration with the Integrity Department.
- Participation in incident and investigation management.
- Overseeing compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Verification of operational data before transferring to Finance.
- Minimizing operational errors and risks.
- Overseeing the accuracy of data in operational files (match schedules, rosters, results).
- Preparing tournament reports (including for organizers) (errors and operational growth areas).
- Initiate improvements to tournament processes and quality.

Candidate Requirements:
- Experience working in basketball projects, tournaments, or event operations.
- Understanding of operational processes and regulations for basketball competitions.
- Skill in coordinating multiple teams and processes simultaneously.
- Ability to make decisions under stress and non-standard situations.
- High level of responsibility and attention to detail.
- Confident with Google Sheets/Excel.
- Intermediate+ English.
- Experience with commercial basketball tournaments would be an advantage.
- Experience working in an international environment.
- Experience scaling operational processes.
- Ability to work from the office.
