Key Areas of Responsibilities
- Front office IT business analyst and project management that will partner with the Japan and global Equities business to ensure successful client requirements & on boarding & delivery.
- Responsible for gathering business requirements for client’s Onboarding (Front office trading systems including middle-backup system related changes, allocation, confirmation, system updates, reports etc..).
- Conduct regular meetings and communication with business users, raise and review Jira for tasks, attend and prioritization meetings.
- Conduct analysis, create & update business requirement, documents / process, work with users, global project managers, development & support teams for implementations.
- Define testing strategies and conduct thorough testing for new features and enhancements, as well as co-ordinate UAT.
- Communicate changes to impacted business users across various departments, including planning and managing changes in processes, operations, and systems.
- Identify and escalate risks while proposing both tactical and strategic solutions to mitigate these risks and provide business support.
- Manage related vendors contracts, procurement and invoices. Work with global team members for vendor system setup.
- Manage incident & communication, support key compliance applications, participate and run annual BCP exercise, write audit or hearing reports for Securities Regulators & related partners (FSA, JSDA, SESC, JASDEC, etc.) related to the project and Incidents.
- Adapt to new technologies and assist with automation & tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree or above in IT/Computing or related studies.
- 6- 10 years of experience in cash equities, basic understanding of Japanese cash equities wholesale business
Business Knowledge
- Basic understanding of Japanese cash equities wholesale business
- Understanding of the Front-to-Back Trade Lifecycle, allocation/confirmation process
PM / BA Experience
- 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager and/or Business Analyst within the financial services industry
- Experience delivering projects in a global environment and collaborating with offshore teams
- Proven stakeholder management skills across business and technology teams
- Experience in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation
- Experience supporting UAT and managing related issues
- Experience tracking and managing system development deliverables and project milestones
Technical Skills
- Preferred Experience supporting Smart Bridge and XNET
- Hands-on experience with JIRA and Confluence
- Basic SQL skills for data extraction and analysis
