Superside is seeking an experienced and visionary Lead Engineer to spearhead the development of cutting-edge technology that impacts the creative industry. We are a leading AI-powered creative service company working with some of the largest companies in the US.
As a Lead Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving our projects forward and establishing best practices within our technical team. This role is perfect for a highly skilled engineer who is both a leader and a team player.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the development of secure, scalable product features, including chat, staffing, project management, and design collaboration tools.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, and other engineers to create seamless and innovative customer experiences.
- Guide the technical direction, create and contribute to technical specifications, and develop testing/rollout plans.
- Mentor other less-experienced engineers, promoting a culture of active participation and innovative problem-solving.
- Drive continuous improvement through performance enhancement and implementing best practices in coding and database management.
- Spearhead important technical discussions and decisions, shaping the future of our technology and products
- Encourage continuous learning and technical growth within the team.
- Report to the Engineering Manager and work cross-functionally to influence business and product strategy.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Proven leadership experience in modern web development and backend frameworks.
- 5+ years of experience with Kotlin and Spring or comparable backend technologies.
- Strong expertise in unit, functional, and end-to-end testing strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to think critically and solve problems creatively and effectively.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly self-motivated with an independent, autonomous work style.
- Passionate about learning and willing to continuously develop new skills.
- Excitement and willingness to build product enhancements with a use of AI.
