How You Will Contribute:
Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Integration & Automation, as a Lead B2B Integration Developer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and support of internal and external integration solutions using Oracle Integration Cloud, Oracle Fusion Middleware B2B Integration platforms. You will work closely with business partners and IT team members to understand, define business requirements and processes, and apply technology in support of business objectives.
- Technical Implementation: Apply technical and analytical skills to implement intra-company and inter-company integrations using B2B technology platforms Oracle Integration Cloud and Oracle SOA Suite, adhering to standards using EDI X12 and RosettaNet.
- Coordination: Coordinate with resources from IT, customers, and suppliers to implement complete end-to-end integration solutions.
- Project Management: Establish and coordinate resources as needed to complete projects efficiently and timely.
- Documentation: Provide applications design, testing, and user documentation for implemented solutions.
- Compliance: Establish change control management through a PMO office to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
- Support: Perform on-call application support, as necessary.
The Must Haves:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems coupled with extensive experience in enterprise integration, including B2B technology (EDI, RosettaNet, cXML).
- Knowledge of middleware technologies/concepts.
- Proficiency in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle SOA Suite 12c, BPEL Process Manager, and B2B Gateway.
- Familiarity with Oracle SOA & OIC Adapters for JDBC, Snowflake, Oracle APPS, SQLServer.
- Expertise in B2B Standards:
- EDI X12 Standards - Different versions – 850, 855, 860, 856, 810
- RosettaNet Standards Methodology (RSM) - RN PIPs 3A4, 3A7, 3A8, 3B2, 3C3
- Hands-on knowledge of Java.
- Detailed understanding of Integration patterns and practices.
- Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs and unit/integration testing.
Assets:
- Experience in Java.
- Working knowledge of OIC, VBCS, Oracle JDeveloper GUI, Mulesoft studio for development.
- Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL programming.
- Working knowledge of the following business processes on customer and supplier sides:
- Purchase Orders
- PO Confirmations
- Ship Notices
- Invoices

Pay Range:
The annual pay range for this position in US is $129,400 - $206,600.
The annual pay range for this position in Canada is CAD 105,900 - CAD 169,100.
Pay ranges at Ciena are designed to accommodate variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, reflecting our diverse products, industries, and lines of business. Please note that the pay range information provided in this posting pertains specifically to the primary location, which is the top location listed in case multiple locations are available.
Non-Sales employees may be eligible for a discretionary incentive bonus, while Sales employees may be eligible for a sales commission.
