What you will do:
- Design / lead the design process of automated systems and equipment
- Lead and/or take part in design reviews for automated systems and equipment.
- Liaise with external suppliers of components and/or entire systems
- Lead the build, testing and commissioning of automated systems from design approval to site acceptance testing
- Ensure safety standards and compliance requirements are met for newly installed equipment
- Lead and/or take part in design reviews for automated systems and equipment.
- Monitor performance and data of implemented systems, and make recommendations for further improvements
- Establish maintenance plans for newly introduced equipment and provide troubleshooting support
- Complete allocated tasks in timely manner
- Autonomously manage projects and communicate key project milestones with key stakeholders
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.
- 8+ years’ experience in mechanical engineering with a focus on industrial automation (PLC).
- Proficient in SolidWorks or similar CAD tools (2D/3D modelling, assemblies, BOMs, GD&T).
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles.
- Excellent communicator and collaborator across cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel locally and internationally as needed.
