Position SummaryWe are seeking an Application Development Lead to drive the end-to-end delivery of advanced, cloud-native web applications that leverage Generative AI at scale. In this role, you will guide a team of engineers in architecting, building, and deploying high-performance applications that integrate with leading AI platforms such as OpenAI, Google Vertex AI, Claude, DeepSeek, and more.
As the technical and people lead, you will set development standards, make critical architecture decisions, and ensure delivery excellence across frontend, backend, and infrastructure layers. You will also foster an environment of innovation, mentoring team members while collaborating closely with product, design, and business stakeholders.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives at the intersection of engineering execution, strategic technical vision, and people development.
What You Will Do- Lead and mentor a team of fullstack developers, providing guidance on technical challenges, architecture decisions, and career development.
- Define technical strategy and standards for fullstack development, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Architect and oversee the development of responsive web interfaces (React, TypeScript) and robust backend services (NodeJS, Python).
- Drive the design and deployment of cloud-native, serverless architectures on AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, Cognito, etc.).
- Champion code quality practices including unit testing, functional testing, peer reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure efficient integration with Generative AI APIs and third-party services to unlock intelligent user experiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, QA, DevOps) to align delivery with business and user needs.
- Oversee performance optimization strategies, including caching, CDN integration, and scalable database design.
- Support release planning and delivery management, ensuring predictable outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
- Act as the bridge between leadership and the development team, translating strategic objectives into technical execution.
- Strategic mindset – able to define and communicate technical roadmaps aligned with business goals.
- Mentorship ability – proven experience coaching engineers, conducting constructive code reviews, and fostering team growth.

Languages & Frameworks
- Expert in: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, NodeJS, React (v17/18), Redux, Express.js, HTML5, CSS3 (SASS/SCSS)
- Familiarity with Next.js, React Native, Vercel (preferred)
Cloud & DevOps
- Deep experience with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, Cognito, CloudWatch, etc.)
- CI/CD automation with GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, CodeBuild, or equivalent
- Infrastructure as Code: Serverless Framework, AWS SAM, Terraform
Databases
- Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL systems: PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, RDS
GenAI Ecosystem (preferred)
- Practical experience with APIs and SDKs from OpenAI, Google Vertex AI, AWS Bedrock, Anthropic, etc.
Tooling
- Git, GitHub, Yarn, Webpack/Vite, NVM/NPM, Babel
- Design handoff familiarity (Figma, Sketch)
