Lead Angular Ionic Developer

Information Security Responsibilities

• Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols
• Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
• Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
• Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of developers in the design, development, and maintenance of complex web applications using Angular and related technologies. 
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. 
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level developers, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and project timelines. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of front-end components with back-end services. 
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, bugs, and other technical challenges in production and development environments. 
• Conduct code reviews and ensure the delivery of maintainable, scalable, and efficient code. 
• Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in front-end development, particularly Angular and web technologies. 
• Contribute to the architecture and design decisions of the web applications. 
• Manage technical debt and ensure long-term stability and performance of the application. 
• Ensure that applications are optimized for maximum speed, scalability, and usability. 
• Facilitate agile development processes, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• 8-10 years of experience in web development, with a strong focus on front-end technologies. 
• Expertise in Angular (versions 2 and above), including experience with building complex, modular, and responsive web applications. 
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, and experience with modern front-end build tools (Webpack, Babel, etc.). 
• Experience with RESTful APIs, AJAX, and integrating third-party libraries and services. 
• Ionic Framework experience is a strong advantage (for building hybrid mobile applications). 
• Experience with Version Control systems (e.g., Git and BitBucket). 
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum. 
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. 
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
• Ability to lead by example, guide the team in complex technical decisions, and maintain a positive and productive team culture. 
• Experience in unit testing, UI testing, and working with testing frameworks (e.g., Jasmine, Karma, Cypress) is a plus. 
• A strong understanding of web application performance optimization techniques and best practices.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. 
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices. 
• Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, or other back-end technologies is a plus. 
• Previous experience in a Tech Lead or Senior Developer role with a track record of delivering high-quality software.
