Summary:
In this role, you will provide custom analytics and insights support to Vizient clients using Vizient tools and data. You will lead client engagements and projects, conduct analyses to identify actionable opportunities for hospitals, and help clients realize the full value of Vizient data. You will develop reports, identify performance variation relative to benchmarks, explore integrations with other Vizient data, aid in the client adoption of Vizient tools, and translate findings into insights that support strategic and operational decision-making. You will present findings to clients and organizational leaders, guide analytical approaches, and contribute to team development by sharing best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Lead multiple customized engagements, projects, and analyses using Vizient data, including operational, quality outcomes, procedural, and utilization data.
- Leverage Vizient data tools to conduct comparative analyses that evaluate variation in operational performance, quality, costs, productivity, supply use, and facility performance; translate findings into actionable insights that support strategic, operational, and executive decision-making.
- Serve as a trusted partner to clients by applying consulting and/or relationship-management expertise to understand business needs, guide analytical solutions, manage expectations, and promote successful adoption of Vizient data and tools.
- Act as a subject-matter expert on Vizient data and the tools used to access, analyze, and report it, including data structures, limitations, and appropriate use cases, to ensure analytical rigor and reliability across deliverables.
- Plan and facilitate client meetings to gather requirements, understand business processes, communicate findings, and manage expectations.
- Apply knowledge of healthcare operations and finance, Vizient differentiators, industry practices, and relevant data sources to strengthen analyses and insights.
- Collaborate with hospital stakeholders and executive leaders to report on and evaluate performance against peer benchmarks.
- Ensure data reporting is accurate, timely, and aligned with analytical requirements and client needs.
- Contribute to mentoring, knowledge sharing, and the development of team best practices.
Qualifications:
- Relevant degree preferred.
- 7 or more years of relevant experience required.
- Hospital quality outcomes, financial, operations, supply chain, or supply analytics experience required.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel required.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, data management, and problem-solving skills required.
- Experience with Vizient data highly preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality work with limited supervision.
Estimated Hiring Range:
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $102,400.00 to $179,000.00.This position is also incentive eligible.
