Summary:

Apexus serves as HRSA’s Prime Vendor for the 340B Drug Pricing Program. We provide access to discounted medications, education and compliance needs and manufacturer refund services to more than 12,200 covered entities serving vulnerable populations. In this role, you will support the 340B team responsible for contracting with sourcing partners and enhance covered entity savings. You will serve as a subject matter expert in 340B sourcing finance, PVP contract utilization, and the analysis of purchasing data. Your insights will drive value for PVP sourcing partners and inform internal strategies to develop value propositions, contracts, and bring additional value to program participants.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of data sets to generate insights into contract optimization, segmentation, purchasing patterns and other 340B marketplace trends.

  • Familiarity with complex financial analysis, required

  • Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, benchmarks, and other insights that can drive business decisions or identify opportunities and threats.

  • Use statistical methods and data analysis tools to perform detailed quantitative analysis (e.g., optimization, segmentation, regression, etc.).

  • Query our various databases for information and produce clear, cohesive stories from that data.

  • Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and other resources to track key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Develop a comprehensive method for tracking and visualizing progress on our team goals.

  • Act as a resource for the internal team in the area of data analysis and leveraging data for better decision-making.

  • Communicate both technically and in lay terms – translating business needs into technical components and vice versa.

  • Support our strategic framework and team projects with data analytics requests.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred (e.g., Business Analytics, Finance, Statistics, etc.).

  • 7 or more years of relevant experience required, with a preference for the pharma/healthcare industry.

  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and MS Excel required.

  • Experience with SQL Server Management Studio or similar SQL Query Utility tools is a plus.

  • Python or R skills are a plus.

  • Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., MicroStrategy, Power BI) preferred.

  • Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to participate in cross-functional projects and interact with business stakeholders while collaborating with business analysts, data engineers, and data scientists.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $77,400.00 to $135,400.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
