As a key member of our Trading Technology team, the Lead Analyst plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Advisor-facing trading platforms. In this role, you will partner closely with both business and technology teams to deliver innovative, scalable, and high-impact solutions that elevate the advisor and client experience.You will drive the full analysis lifecycle—from discovery and requirements definition through solution design, validation, and implementation—ensuring every initiative is grounded in clarity, quality, and strategic alignment. Job Description
This position follows our hybrid-friendly schedule, so you get the best of both worlds – flexibility and collaboration. In office days will be 2-3 per week averaging 10-12 days per month in our St Petersburg, FL Corporate Office.
Responsibilities:
Lead the discovery, documentation, and stewardship of business and functional requirements for high-impact, complex technology initiatives—ensuring clarity, alignment, and strategic value.
Translate business goals into crisp, actionable technical requirements and user stories that empower teams to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Perform gap analyses, feasibility assessments, and impact evaluations to shape intelligent, scalable solution designs and guide strategic decision-making.
Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional partners—developers, QA, UX, and business stakeholders—to drive successful and timely delivery of technology solutions.
Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT), validate test scenarios, and confirm that delivered solutions meet or exceed business expectations.
Develop and maintain high-quality process flows, wireframes, prototypes, and technical/user documentation to support clarity and adoption.
Serve as a trusted subject matter expert (SME) for assigned systems and business domains, becoming a go-to leader for insight and guidance.
Support production issue investigation and resolution with urgency and ownership, including participating in after-hours support on a rotational schedule.
Champion risk management, change control, and issue tracking best practices throughout the project lifecycle to ensure transparency and consistent execution.
Skills:
10+ years of business analysis experience within financial services, trading systems, or enterprise technology environments—demonstrating depth, versatility, and domain expertise.
Experience with Equities, Options, and Mutual Fund trading workflows or platforms is a strong plus and will greatly accelerate success in this role.
Familiarity with market structure, order life cycles, and trade processing across Equities, Options, and Mutual Funds is highly desirable.
Strong command of SDLC, Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies, with the ability to adapt and lead across diverse project frameworks.
Proficiency in SQL and data analysis, with hands-on experience in tools such as TFS, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, Splunk, and Postman.
Experience using wireframing and prototyping tools (e.g., Visio, Marvel) to visualize ideas and accelerate solution design.
Proven ability to manage competing priorities and fluid project demands while maintaining focus, momentum, and quality.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders with clarity and influence.
Demonstrated success in driving alignment, influencing decisions, and building consensus across diverse teams and functions.
Experience supporting vendor-based software implementations and enterprise-scale applications is highly valued.
Familiarity with AI-powered tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT) to enhance documentation, productivity, and innovation.
