The Lead Analyst, Procurement serves as the primary point of contact (POC) for all Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Information (RFI) projects, ensuring timely execution and alignment with business objectives. This role drives procurement-related document preparation and fact-finding initiatives to support aggressive project timelines, while also managing process improvement projects as both project manager and project owner. The Lead Analyst will leverage strong analytical and project management skills to deliver value, streamline processes,
and enhance supplier engagement.
Primary Accountabilities:
● Project Management (50%)
○ Manage all RFP/RFI projects as the designated POC, ensuring clear
communication, adherence to deadlines, and proper alignment with stakeholder
needs.
○ Lead process improvement initiatives, acting as both project manager and owner,
to identify efficiencies and implement sustainable solutions.
○ Partner with cross-functional teams to drive procurement strategies and ensure
project success.
● Operational (30%)
○ Aid in procurement documentation, vendor communications, and fact-finding
activities to support sourcing strategies.
○ Monitor progress of procurement initiatives to ensure aggressive timelines are
met.
○ Ensure compliance with organizational policies, standards, and procurement best
practices.
● Analytical (20%)
○ Conduct vendor and procurement data analysis to evaluate performance and
inform sourcing decisions.
○ Develop metrics to track project outcomes and supplier performance, providing
regular updates to leadership.
○ Recommend improvements based on insights from procurement data and market
research.
Required Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field.
● 6–8 years of related procurement or sourcing experience; or an equivalent combination
of education and training.
● Strong project management experience, with demonstrated ability to lead cross-
functional initiatives.
● Advanced proficiency with Oracle ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google
Workspace.
● Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Procurement certification (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) preferred.
● Experience in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma).
● Demonstrated success leading procurement transformation initiatives.
