Lead Analyst, People Technology – Strategic Visionary for Workforce Innovation
We’re seeking a Lead Analyst, People Technology to drive the strategy, roadmap, and maturity of our People Technology capabilities. In this role, you’ll serve as the functional authority for assigned domains, ensuring solutions align with business priorities, operational needs, and enterprise standards. You’ll own capability standards, governance processes, and design principles while leading cross-functional initiatives to enhance employee experience and operational effectiveness.
With 7+ years of experience in Workday or comparable workforce technology platforms, you’ll bring expert-level knowledge to shape future-state operating models, evaluate enhancement requests, and govern prioritization decisions. Your strategic thinking, stakeholder influence, and ability to balance business needs with compliance and scalability will be key to driving organizational change.

Responsibilities
- Own the strategy, roadmap, and maturity of one or more People Technology capabilities or domains.
- Serve as the accountable functional lead for assigned capabilities, ensuring solutions align with business priorities, operational needs, and enterprise standards.
- Own capability standards, governance processes, design principles, and leading practices for assigned domains.
- Define future-state operating models and technology approaches for assigned capabilities.
- Evaluate, prioritize, and govern enhancement requests to ensure investments deliver measurable business value.
- Govern intake, release planning, and capability-level prioritization decisions for assigned capabilities.
- Provide functional architecture oversight and approve solution approaches within assigned domains.
- Lead complex cross-functional initiatives and serve as the functional authority for major programs and transformations.
- Assess business value, organizational impact, risk, scalability, compliance, and long-term sustainability of proposed solutions.
- Partner with business leaders to develop capability roadmaps and identify opportunities to improve employee experience and operational effectiveness.
- Monitor capability adoption, utilization, effectiveness, and maturity, recommending investments and improvements as needed.
- Serve as the enterprise expert for assigned Workday capabilities and guide capability evolution, governance, and design standards.
- Mentor Senior Analysts and promote consistent standards, quality, and knowledge sharing across the function.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
- Seven (7) or more years of experience supporting Workday and/or comparable workforce technology platforms.
- Expert-level knowledge in one or more People Technology domains and supporting Workday capabilities.
- Deep understanding of Workday design principles, governance, release management, and industry leading practices.
- Experience owning capability roadmaps, standards, governance activities, and strategic initiatives.
- Proven ability to influence senior leaders and stakeholders without direct authority.
- Strong strategic thinking, consulting, facilitation, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated success leading large-scale cross-functional initiatives and driving organizational change.
- Ability to balance business priorities, operational needs, user experience, compliance requirements, and long-term sustainability when making technology decisions.
Skills Required
