Job Description:

About the Role & Team

Do you remember seeing trailers for The Devil Wears Prada 2 earlier this summer? What about digital spots for a cruise on the Disney Wish? Or the California Adventure Food and Wine Festival? If you did, it was likely because of the detailed planning and execution of The Walt Disney Company’s Enterprise Media and Marketing team…and if you didn’t – it’s probably because our targeting is that good

We are looking for a Lead Analyst, Marketing Data Product to join the Performance Marketing arm of this media team. We are an integrated, cross-functional team of marketers, software engineers, data scientists, and analysts who help the Media team execute highly data-driven marketing campaigns and tactics.

As a Lead Analyst, Marketing Data Product you will facilitate the delivery of our product roadmap. You will help plan and execute the creation of innovative campaign planning tools, complex data science workflows, and elegant web applications that blend the art of advertising at Disney with the science of our data-backed insights.

This role is unique – our team is embedded directly within the Disney media team. We're aligned, mission-driven, and free to move fast and innovate towards our goals. You'll tackle the challenges of executing and optimizing precise paid media strategies, using the latest technologies and tools. If you're excited about this, please get in touch – we'd love to hear from you!

What You Will Do

  • Maintain product roadmaps for a wide array of Performance Marketing tools; drive progress towards goals
  • Live and breathe our data – be the subject matter expert and owner for the majority of our performance marketing datasets
  • Build and improve data pipelines alongside data engineering
  • Conduct high-level product and project management: create and track initiatives, write and approve technical user stories, coordinate efforts between different groups to ensure alignment and delivery
  • Collaborate with software and data engineers to execute improvements to existing processes and tools (and innovate by creating new ones)
  • Innovate and constantly refine how we communicate data and insights to our team and stakeholders – simplify and expand existing dashboards and solutions to increase use and impact
  • Facilitate any work with UX/UI teams on requirements for wireframes and design elements; translate functional requirements to software engineers
  • Leverage AI and LLMs to get out of your comfort zone – you will build your own prototypes and tools in collaboration with the broader team

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in a relevant subject area, such as Computer Science or Business Analytics
  • 7+ years of related work experience in Data Engineering/Analytics, Ad Tech/Media Analytics, or technical Product Management
  • Advanced expertise with SQL
  • Experience working with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI
  • Experience with workflow tracking or project management tools such (e.g., Airtable)
  • Familiarity with data and software engineering processes and principles; loose knowledge of Python or similar scripting languages
  • Knowledge of ad platforms, including Google Ads, Meta, Innovid, and DSPs (Google Display Video, The Trade Desk, Yahoo)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and meet deadlines
  • Proven critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of digital ad serving, tracking, and implementation
  • Experience with Spark and big data processing technologies
  • Experience building full-stack applications
