What you will do:
As our Lead Analyst, Payroll and Compensation you will work to understand business needs including the processes for end-to-end business solutions for HR functions with heavy focus in payroll and compensation. You are responsible for building strong collaborative relationships across the organization in areas that include HR COEs, business facing HR, Finance, Compliance, Audit, and internal/external Communications with a specific focus on the Payroll and Compensation Workday functionality. You will serve as both a functional expert and technical advisor, providing system expertise and guidance to ensure business needs are met through thoughtful system design.
- Partner with HR COEs, Total Rewards, Payroll Operations, and business-facing HR teams to deliver end-to-end solutions that drive operational excellence in Compensation and Payroll.
- Configure, test, and document system implementation or release activities in Workday for Core Compensation, Advanced Compensation (Merit, Bonus, Stock planning) and US Payroll modules.
- Serve as a strong consultative partner to business and functional leaders to continuously improve service delivery and meet business goals.
- Partner with business and technical teams to determine the best solution to business problems, output needs and the delivery of new technology solutions and enhancements.
- Independently complete and deliver work for Total Rewards and Payroll Operations functional teams related to process, system, and system support initiatives.
- Provide production support and troubleshooting for Workday compensation cycles and payroll processing issues, coordinating with IT and vendors as needed.
- Collaborate on creating and executing regression and release testing on Workday applications in Payroll and Compensation functional areas.
- Participate in presenting configuration design options and capabilities per functional and industry knowledge.
What you need:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of work experience in HR, Business, Information Technology OR 10+ year of work experience total required
- Experience with Workday applications including Payroll and/or Compensation required
Preferred
- Prior Workday Canada Payroll implementation or post implementation project experience
- Workday Pro Certification
- Experience with Azure DevOps
- Understanding of cloud-based technologies and object-oriented data models
- Strong knowledge of data privacy and other relevant HR data regulations
- Experience working in an enterprise technology environment: HRIS enterprise infrastructure with touchpoints such as ServiceNow, AD, Exchange, Firewalls, SSO, and Mobile configurations
$87,600 - $186,700 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
