The Finance Systems team is a dedicated community of Techno-Functional professionals who partner and coordinate with the business and technology to manage, optimize and implement a controlled operation of business that allow the company to scale efficiently. The Lead Systems Analyst with knowledge of Coupa is critical as they drive procurement efficiencies and financial compliance by optimizing procure to pay workflows,
Key Deliverables :

The Lead Systems Analyst with knowledge of Coupa  Systems, who will be responsible for administering, implementing, and optimizing our existing system and provide E2E support on the same. Collaborate with Finance, AP, Procurement, Sourcing, HR, Accounting, FP&A and IT teams to enhance system functionality and ensure alignment with business objectives.

 In this role, the Lead Analyst is responsible for the following: 

  • Lead the design, building, configuration, workflow, permissions and administration of Coupa Cloud applications
  • Support on Platform configuration including COA, approval chain, business rules, custom forms and flex fields.
  • Support on release management - testing, validation and deployment of releases.
  • Partner with Accounts Payable, accounting & other finance teams to streamline operation and reporting processes.
  • Provide user training and documentation to ensure adoption and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system upgrades, patches, and new feature implementations.
  • Stay up to date with latest functionality releases and provide recommendations for improvements to existing processes.
  • Data Analysis - Sources, compiles, and interprets data. Analyzes data for accuracy, trends and potential efficiencies, effectively communicates analysis output.
  • Identifying Requirements - Determines functional requirements and communicates them using requirements documents and functional specifications. Identifies recurring issues that affect system processes, assists in correcting. Ensures compliance through testing and analysis.
  • Reporting - Produces advanced reporting based on data analysis, user input, and system testing. Identifies patterns, problems, and potential areas of improvement. Ability to build custom reports to track cycle time, compliance metrics, exception rates. May develop process enhancements based on analysis results.
  • System Support - Provides expert functional support for systems by responding to escalated inquiries, ensuring processes run smoothly, and working to continuously improve the end-user experience. Partners with IT to implement recommended modifications and enhancements. Serves as an analytics resource to wider organization or business units, offering guidance on the PeopleSoft Financials system and data output.
  • Provide support to business users in a timely manner.
  • Participate various ad-hoc analysis and reporting efforts for the stake holders.
  • Ability to build credibility with internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure & flexibility to meet demanding deadlines essential. 
  • Recommend and/ or implement actions required to improve processes.        
  • Proactively escalate issues to supervisor that require attention.
  • Respond in a timely manner to all requests.

Skills & Qualification

  • 8+ years of experience working with enterprise scale Coupa / PeopleSoft Financial systems on AP & Expense Modules.
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or equivalent work experience
  • Strong expertise in Coupa Cloud (Procurement, Invoice & Expense management).
  • Extensive prior work experience with systems and application management
  • Experience working in Finance technology domain within Banking or Financial Services industry
  • Proficient with desktop tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint and technical communication platforms and collaboration tools such as Jira, Azure, SharePoint.
  • Experience with systems data analysis.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to co-ordinate on agreed requirements within a team environment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to streamline complex requirements to simplify Business Processes.
  • Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, banking knowledge a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with key stakeholders in Finance and IT.
