Senior Accountant

As a Senior Accountant a typical day might include the following:  
Under moderate supervision:

• Applying working knowledge of accounting and finance principles to perform and/or review a variety of journal entries, account analyses, workpapers, and reconciliations.

• Preparing analysis of financial results requiring some judgment and creativity for management review, and providing other support and recommendations for division management.

• Preparing budgets, projections, product cost analyses, and other analyses, and/or assisting in implementation or review of internal controls.

• Performing research and planning according to generally accepted accounting principles, tax laws, and/or IFRS, and making recommendations to management.

• Leading special projects.

This job might be for you if:

• You have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

• You are innovative, motivated, self-directed.

• You have a working knowledge of accounting and finance principles, theories, and concepts, or working knowledge of GAAP.

• You have 3+ years of professional experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.

• You have strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA, CMA, or CFA; or Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; or MBA.

• Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

• Willingness to travel internationally.

Pay Range Data

Senior Accountant $78,000 - $104,600 per year. We base our starting pay offer on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills. Our ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location.
