Our Commercial Development team is seeking a Lead Account Executive for the Netherlands. In this role, you will combine individual sales excellence with commercial leadership, driving growth and performance across the NL market in close collaboration with SDR, Customer Success, and senior leadership.

This role is ideal for a high performing Account Executive ready to take on team responsibility and step into commercial leadership.

Your responsibilities

You will operate as a player–coach in the NL market — owning and managing the full sales cycle as a quota-carrying seller, while also driving team performance and predictability. Here’s a bit more of what you can expect:

  • Market Accountability: You drive ownership for the NL market revenue number - not just your own pipeline. You track weekly metrics, diagnose team-level patterns, and act proactively when you see attach rates, pipeline coverage, or conversion dipping.

  • End-to-End Sales Execution: Own a full sales cycle in the NL market, from qualifying inbound and outbound opportunities through to closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals.

  • Strategic Value Selling: Lead high-quality discovery and demo conversations that clearly articulate business impact and position Moss as a strategic finance partner.

  • Pipeline & Forecast Excellence: Maintain CRM discipline and drive strong pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and structured deal reviews across the team.

  • Player–Coach Leadership: Contribute directly as a quota-carrying seller while acting as a sparring partner on strategic deals and supporting the development of Account Executives.

  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner closely with SDR, Customer Success, Marketing, Product, and leadership to align on market strategy and drive sustainable revenue growth.

About you

We think you’ll need the following experience and qualifications to succeed in the role:

  • You have 4+ years experience as an Account Executive in B2B SaaS or FinTech, with strong full sales cycle and solution selling capabilities

  • You demonstrate commercial maturity and leadership potential, acting as a sparring partner on deals, mentoring others and raising performance standards within a team environment

  • Fluent in Dutch (C2, or native) and English (C1)
