Job Summary
Leads: Gen Engineering Field Record Clerks, Gen Engineering Map Clerks, Engineering Record Clerks and GIS Quality Assurance Specialist.
Coordinate and direct the work for gas and electric clerical Maps and Record Department personnel. Develop and communicate objectives and procedures for staff and end-users in support of gas and electric standardization. Provide guidance and support to records staff to assure proper asset reporting for both gas and electric work orders. Direct development and implementation of training processes and procedures for both gas and electric utilities. Interpret and administer guidelines established by Company policy and the labor union contract. Coach and promote employee development. Manage GIS (Geographic Information System) and Web GIS data. Manage and maintain administrative documents for all clerical record department personnel.
Essential Functions
- Develop and communicate procedures in compliance with regulatory agencies
- Develop and communicate procedures for gas and electric records standardization, some of which assures revenues for the Company on a timely basis i.e., street light regionalization and reconciliation, standardization of pole facilities request, and foreign utility pole contacts.
- Provide direction and support for the electric and gas specific work order and blanket work order close out process
- Develop and administer gas and electric training process and procedure improvements including the automation of gas and electric records
- Manage program administrator functions for GIS Web and DMC Share Drive
- Prepare and maintain clerical staffing administrative documents
- Leads a geographically dispersed staff
- Promotes safe working environment and public safety
- Keeps up to date with professional/technical developments and implements value added technology and tools
- Timely and accurate management of the work order close out process for all TDSIC work orders

Required Qualifications For Position
- 4-6 years Minimum of 5-years of Mapping and Records, engineering, or operating experience
- Supervisory experience
- Proven technical knowledge and understanding of gas transmission and distribution systems and their associated data base systems.
- Knowledge of rules and procedures for electric and gas regulatory compliance.
- Ability to develop, manage, and communicate gas and electric work processes and procedures.
- Knowledge of CIS system, GIS, Asses Management (Power Plant), Maximo, MAPPS (material procurement), auditing and budgeting procedures
- Strong organization and planning skills
Preferred Additional Qualifications for Position
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Technology, Business, or other related

Salary Range:
$91,000.00 - $136,600.00
