Program Summary

KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). KBR’s enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract’s original prime contractor. Job Summary

As an Associate Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be instrumental in supporting our Quality program by providing specialized technical expertise in various quality-related areas. Your role involves inspection, testing, training, audits, and problem-solving to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and quality standards. You will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of our products and processes.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide support in quality assurance tasks, collaborating with the quality assurance team.
  • Assist in organizing and conducting quality training programs to enhance team members' understanding of quality principles.
  • Participate in quality audits to assess compliance with established standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Utilize basic quality tools and principles to contribute to problem-solving efforts and assess the effectiveness of solutions.
  • Assist in the creation of inspection reports to document work area conditions and ensure compliance with quality requirements.
  • Contribute recommendations for corrective actions based on inspection findings to address deviations from standards.
  • Support the validation and verification of compliance with contractual quality standards for project execution.
  • Contribute to maintaining the quality standards of products, procedures, and materials within the work scope.
  • Assist in ensuring alignment between the quality management function and the performance needs of product lines.
  • Participate in inspections of materials received from vendors and vendor sites to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Aid in documenting nonconformities and assist in follow-up audits on corrective actions to address quality issues effectively.
  • Support inspections across all functional areas of the project to ensure compliance with documented procedures and contract requirements.
  • Assist in the development of quality inspection checklists to facilitate inspection processes and ensure thoroughness.
  • Maintain communication with relevant personnel regarding work progress, challenges, and achievements.
  • Conduct daily responsibilities with professionalism and integrity when collaborating with project personnel, management, and stakeholders in quality assurance tasks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and requires 0-1 year of quality experience

  • Requires a valid passport with at least 12 months of validity and 6 blank pages.
