The Opportunity:

Provide systems engineering support for Navy Modernization and Planning for CNO Availabilities and data analysis of HM&E System Engineering for FREEDOM Variant Littoral Combat Ship (LCS). 
Responsibilities:

  • Provide FREEDOM variant LCS Availability Planning Support. 

  • Provide Platform Engineering and Data Analysis for FREEDOM Variant LCS. 

  • Support Weekly Availability Planning Meeting for FREEDOM Variant LCS, as required.

  • Support Program Reviews and System Level Data Analysis as dictated by client, as required. 

  • Draft presentations for Integrated Project Team Development (IPTD) meetings, as required. 

  • Creating/Maintaining Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) and standard reporting templates.

Qualifications:
Required: 

  • BS in Engineering or equivalent technical field or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of 3 years or more of experience in engineering or related field.

  • Secret clearance.

  • Good interpersonal skills to work with project teams, technical leads, and stakeholders.

  • Ability to work alone on individual projects with supervision and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members.

  • Proficient in MS Office 365 suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills, and a background in working with multidisciplinary teams. 

Desired:

  • NAVSEA headquarters, Department of Navy, Shipyard or military background.

  • Familiarization with Navy Modernization Planning preferred.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$72,200 - $147,900
