Job Description

The LCS Business Intelligence & Data Governance Manager enables data‑driven and AI‑ready decision-making across Lifecycle Services by leading Business Intelligence (BI) delivery while establishing data governance, quality, and standards. You will act as a strategic partner to LCS leaders, translating business needs into trusted insights, scalable analytics, and governed data assets that support operational excellence, performance management, continuous improvement, and successful adoption of AI‑enabled capabilities.

You will balance strategic governance leadership with hands‑on BI enablement, ensuring LCS data is accurate, accessible, secure, and fit for purpose to support both analytics and all AI use cases. You will report to the Director, LCS Operational Excellence and have a hybrid schedule working in Milwaukee, WI or any one of our business locations in the US.

Your Responsibilities:

Business Intelligence Leadership

  • Lead the delivery of BI solutions that provide applicable insights across LCS operations, finance, delivery, quality, and performance management.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand priorities, translate requirements into analytics and AI‑enabled insight opportunities, and prioritize BI demand.
  • Improve adoption of standardized dashboards, reporting, and self‑service analytics to maximize value from existing BI platforms.
  • Ensure insights are in consideration of priorities and ensure proactive, data‑driven decision-making across LCS.
  • Identify opportunities where advanced analytics, predictive insights, or AI‑assisted decision support can enhance outcomes.

Data Governance, Quality & AI Readiness

  • Develop LCS data governance frameworks, including data ownership, stewardship, standards, and quality controls.
  • Establish definitions, metrics, and master data practices to reduce ambiguity and improve trust in data.
  • Ensure data foundations (quality, lineage, security, access, and documentation) are in place to support AI readiness and responsible AI use.
  • Partner with enterprise data, IT, cybersecurity, compliance, and AI governance teams to ensure agreement on corporate policies.
  • Monitor and improve data quality, integrity, and consistency across different LCS data sources, recognizing that AI success is directly dependent on high‑quality, well‑governed data.
  • Support AI use case prioritization by assessing data feasibility (availability and accuracy) for use cases under consideration.

Strategy, Standards & Enablement

  • Be the LCS data and analytics subject‑matter expert, guiding best practices for reporting, visualization, data governance, and AI‑adjacent analytics capabilities.
  • Support integration initiatives, system changes, and new digital capabilities by ensuring data readiness, governance, and reporting alignment.
  • Collaborate with AI, digital, and automation initiatives to ensure LCS data is prepared for AI models, copilots, and advanced analytics use cases.
  • Contribute to the LCS Operational Excellence strategy by embedding analytics, governance, and AI‑ready data practices into business processes.

People & Stakeholder Leadership

  • Lead a team of BI managers, data engineers, scientists and analysts (combination of direct and indirect), fostering a culture of collaboration, curiosity, and continuous improvement.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, clearly communicating insights, risks, data limitations, and AI readiness considerations in a business‑focused manner.
  • Educate and influence stakeholders on the importance of data quality, governance, and discipline as critical enablers of AI success.
  • Build strong cross‑functional relationships across LCS, IT, Finance, Quality, Operations, and Digital/AI teams.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

Technical & Functional Expertise

  • 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, analytics, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated experience with data governance, data quality management, and data standards in complex organizations.
  • Understanding of AI and advanced analytics concepts, including how data quality, structure, and governance impact model performance and reliability.
  • Experience working with multiple data sources, integrating disparate systems, and addressing data consistency challenges.
  • Translate business questions into AI‑enabled insight solutions.

Business & Leadership Experience

  • Experience partnering with senior stakeholders to drive adoption of analytics and AI‑informed decision-making.
  • Experience balancing tactical reporting needs with long‑term strategic analytics, governance, and AI readiness initiatives.
  • Familiarity with operational, services, or industrial business models
  • Familiarity with the LCS business
  • Experienced people manager, both direct and indirect.
What We Offer:
