Job Description

As an Application Engineer for LCMS, you will play a crucial role in supporting the sales and customer success teams by providing technical expertise and application support for our Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry products. You will work closely with customers to understand their analytical needs, provide demonstrations of our LCMS solutions, and offer guidance on method development and optimization. This role requires a combination of scientific knowledge, technical proficiency, and strong communication skills to ensure customer satisfaction and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Engagement: Collaborate with the sales team to engage with customers and understand their analytical challenges and requirements. Provide technical support and consultation to help customers select the most suitable LCMS solutions for their applications.
  • Product Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the capabilities and features of our LCMS systems. Customize demonstrations to align with customer needs and demonstrate the value proposition of our solutions.
  • Method Development: Assist customers in developing and optimizing analytical methods using LCMS technology. Provide guidance on sample preparation, chromatographic separation, mass spectrometry detection, and data analysis techniques.
  • Training and Education: Deliver training sessions and workshops for customers to enhance their understanding of LCMS principles, instrumentation, and software. Develop educational materials such as application notes, technical guides, and training videos.
  • Application Support: Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries related to LCMS applications, troubleshooting, and data interpretation. Provide timely and effective support to address customer issues and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, marketing, and customer support to communicate customer feedback, identify market trends, and contribute to product enhancements and new product development initiatives.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging applications of LCMS technology. Use market insights to identify opportunities for business growth and innovation.
  • Customer Success: Work proactively to ensure the success of customers by providing ongoing support, guidance, and follow-up. Build strong relationships with customers to foster loyalty and drive customer retention and expansion.
Qualifications
  • MSc degree in science (chemistry, biology or related discipline)
  • 5-10 years of experience is required.
  • LC/LCMS/ Pharma/Biopharma experience is mandatory.

This job has a full time weekly schedule.
