Your OpportunityThis position is responsible for properly operating Slicer and Bacon Press and keeping the line supplied with product.

Core Responsibilities- Inspects bellies.
- Examines bellies for broken comb ends, bone chips, hair roots and foreign materials.
- Loads bellies shoulder first, end to end on Slicer, as directed by leadership.
- Starts and stops Slicer as necessary.
- Cleans out Slicer when malfunctioning.
- Replaces paper rolls on spindle when used up.
- Threads paper into feed mechanism properly.
- Cleans area and machine as prescribed by leadership.
- Notifies Line Service Person, if low on pressed belly supply.
- Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.

- The plant environment will include wet or humid conditions (non-weather related), extreme cold and heat (non-weather related), working near moving mechanical parts, exposure to fumes or airborne particles, and chemicals.
- Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be loud when in the production area.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus.
- Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
