As a Trainee Lawyer at PeopleCert, you will play a crucial role in supporting our legal team ensuring compliance with all aspects of corporate, commercial, IT, Intellectual Property, and employment law, as well as regulations and policies relevant to our business across the organization. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with legal stakeholders in order to ensure legal conformity and minimize the probability of exposure to legal risks. You will contribute to promoting PeopleCert's core values of Quality, Innovation, Passion, and Integrity.
As an Lawyer Trainee your tasks will include the following:
- Conducting research on legal issues, legislation, regulatory framework and case law, providing summaries for supervising Legal Team members;
- Reviewing, drafting, processing, proofreading and translating a variety of legal documents;
- Providing assistance to expert lawyers in trial preparation, drafting of legal letters, filing documents at courts, independent authorities and public services ;
- Maintaining calendar of assigned active tasks;
- Producing a variety of written documents and materials using a wide range of office software applications;
- Assisting in delivering presentation of legal developments, due diligence tasks, company policies and procedures.

What we look for:
- Bachelor Degree in Law; an LL.M. from a renowned law school would be considered a plus
- Qualified in Greece as a trainee lawyer.
- 0-1 year post-qualification experience required
- Sound knowledge of Greek commercial law (including corporate and intellectual property law); knowledge of employment law would be considered a plus
- Excellent command of the English language (oral & written) (C2 level certification desired, or certificate would be a plus)
- Advanced computer literacy is required. ECDL Advance level certification is desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to assist the legal team to effectively advise management and employees on legal matters with good business acumen.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, ensuring compliance with deadlines.
- Excellent organization and ability to balance multiple priorities appropriately
- Well organized, self-driven, flexible and able to work in a high-volume, fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment
