The course provides an overview of the ethical principles and rules that are relevant to one’s life as an expert in the law, including ethical requirements for the practice of law in Canada and abroad. The course is taught over the course of weekly meetings during the term, in addition to an intensive period during Focus Week.
Please note that this course will be allocated to a member using an exemption as per article 15.03.03 of the MCLIU collective agreement.
TQR: At a minimum, a first degree in law. Several years of significant practice or professional experience, in the relevant area; Experience in teaching undergraduate law students in a bilingual setting.
