Summary
We are seeking a driven, client-focused, and entrepreneurial professional to join our growing Business Banking team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in business development, enjoys building trusted relationships, and is passionate about helping professional service industries succeed.
As a Law Firm & Attorney Sales Executive, you will work closely with law firms-supporting their unique banking needs from onboarding to ongoing relationship management. You will also help drive new business by identifying target markets, building strategic partnerships, and developing tailored onboarding strategies.
This is a great opportunity for further career growth and development under the mentorship of the VP Director, Business and Government Banking Business Development. This role will be hybrid with our office located at 180 Massachusetts Ave. in Arlington, MA, two days per week (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) in the office and will also travel around the Greater Boston/New England market.
Responsibilities
  • Originate new business opportunities with law firms.
  • Assist with onboarding new clients, ensuring a smooth and efficient setup process tailored to each client's needs.
  • Maintain strong day-to-day relationships with existing clients through proactive service and timely support.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across banking, operations, compliance, and credit to deliver seamless client experiences.
  • Develop and execute strategies to target new clients in the market.
  • Attend and represent the bank at industry events, networking functions, and professional gatherings to increase visibility and build connections.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of ecosystem relationships with attorneys and other key influencers.
  • Support marketing and brand awareness initiatives, including campaigns, newsletters, and event follow-ups.
  • Maintain CRM systems and sales tracking tools, ensuring data accuracy and actionable reporting.
  • Prepare client materials, presentations, and proposals as needed. Will be responsible for presenting and running demonstrations for clients independently.
  • Share market intelligence and client feedback to help enhance products, services, and processes.

Qualifications
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in sales or business development within banking, law firms, professional services, or similar industry with interest in working within the law firm/attorney segment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, organization and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Attending events and networking within the Greater Boston/New England market is required.
  • Prior exposure working with law firms and attorneys a plus
  • Experience with banking products and services for professional industries a plus.
