Summary 

We are looking for a highly organized and motivated professional to join the Point72 LaunchPoint management team.

The Point72 LaunchPoint management team identifies and onboards internal promotes and external hires, and then provides them with the structure and resources to enhance their strengths and fill any gaps in their process. 

What you’ll do 

We are looking for a professional with experience in long/short investing and strong writing and communication skills to join the Point72 LaunchPoint management team. In this role, you will support our emerging PMs in collaboration with other members of Point72 LaunchPoint and Long/Short management. Your responsibilities may include: 

• Preparing agendas, participate in, and memorialize meetings with Point72 LaunchPoint PMs
• Consolidating a variety of materials on each Point72 LaunchPoint PM and their process to inform our team’s tailored approach to supporting them
• Partnering with PMs to document their team vision and expectations
• Supporting PMs with the hiring of their teams, including partnering with the firm’s Business Development team, interviewing and assessing candidates, and making recommendations
• Helping teams update their business plans
• Analyzing new PM portfolios to help guide them to our all-weather principles.
• Working with internal analytics and analyst engagement partners to identify upcoming talent and develop actionable gameplans for potential Point72 LaunchPoint PM promotes.
• Creating hiring packs used for presenting new Point72 LaunchPoint candidates to the firm’s hiring committee
• Working with firm partners to support development and general business goals
• Partnering closely with Compliance

What’s required 

• Undergraduate degree or higher
• Knowledge of long/short investing
• Excellent MS Office skills with the ability to create clear, crisp documentation
• Advanced Excel skills, knowledge of Python is a plus
• Strong attention to detail
• Team player with an entrepreneurial spirit and good communication skills
• Deep intellectual curiosity and lifelong learning mindset

The annual base salary range for this role is $200,000-$300,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
