Launch Engineer

What will your responsibilities be?

• Launch of new product into production – coordinating of all activities; ensuring of compliance of all standards and procedures; coordinating of all activities during the launch phase
• Involvement in the development of the product from its initial stages - creates launch plan, ensures schedule adherence, production readiness and open items overview to achieve compliance with deadlines, customer requirements, internal deliveries
• Identifying of bottlenecks and obstacles; establishes a plan for risk reduction
• Ensuring of readiness of suppliers and tooling for relevant components.
• Managing of launch/launch costs according to budget
• Ensuring that all quality documentation (PFMEA, Control plan) is prepared and agreed upon internally and by the customer
• Ensuring the ordering of non-series parts, materials and other necessary resources.
• Ensuring of compliance with budget and deadlines for the whole launch process

Which qualifications are we looking for in potential employees?

• University degree - mechanical engineering
• 5 years’ experience in a similar position – project management/launch management/development/manufacturing
• Reading of technical drawings
• Organizational skills
• Good knowledge of English (on a communication level) and Hungarian (mother tongue)
• Standard PC skills, experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint etc.
