Lateral Program
Organize aspects of lateral recruitment, including screening resumes, meeting with attorney leadership to determine lateral needs, communicating with candidates, scheduling interviews and assisting with day-of logistics, discussions with legal search firms, and tracking candidate statuses. Assist with offers, including preparing offer terms and facilitating the firm’s conflict and background check processes.
Other Duties
Other responsibilities include assisting the Recruiting Director and Managers with all aspects of lateral recruiting as needed. This may include, for example, conducting market research and presenting this information to internal leadership.
Reporting Relationship
The Recruiting Coordinator reports to the Director of Attorney Recruiting and the Senior Manager of Lateral Recruiting, with strong accountability to the Firm Hiring Partner and Office Hiring Partners for their markets.
Subordinate Staff: None.
Qualifications
Experience/Knowledge
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.
Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Experience with generative AI and legal recruiting platforms/databases is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously under strict deadlines.
Minimum of 2 years’ recruiting experience (preferably in a law firm or other professional services environment).

Physical Demands
Must be able to move around the office up to 15% of the time to make copies, fax, file, etc. Remains stationary at least 85% of the time. When coordinating/attending special events, might be required to move around up to 100% of the time. This position operates computers and other office productivity machines (e.g., fax machine, copier, printer, etc.) on a regular basis. Occasionally required to move documents or files weighing up to 15 lbs. This position requires constant communication and exchange of information with the Firm attorneys, clients and staff. This position must be able to inspect and observe information on a computer screen at least 80% of the time.
Working Conditions
Office environment; minimum of 4 days in-office weekly.
Salary Range:
The expected salary range for this position is $78,000.00-$86,000.00.
