As a Senior Technical Consultant you will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle which includes estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment and support of application developed for our clients. As a member working in a team environment you will take direction from solution architects and Leads on development activities.

Responsibilities
  • Pipeline Design & Orchestration: Design, implement, and maintain robust Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines specifically for .NET and cloud-native applications, ensuring efficient build and release processes across multiple environments (Dev, QA, UAT, Prod).

  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Lead the automation of infrastructure provisioning using Terraform. Manage and secure Azure resources including App Services, Azure SQL, Key Vaults, App Configuration, and Private Endpoints.

  • Governance & Quality Assurance: Support and enforce Git branching strategies (e.g., GitFlow) and implement rigorous code-quality gates to ensure strict adherence to industry best practices and environment governance.

  • Operational Excellence: Implement and maintain comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and logging strategies using Azure Monitor and Application Insights to ensure high availability and rapid troubleshooting.

  • Collaboration & Leadership: Collaborate extensively with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth deployments and environment stability. Drive continuous process improvements in release management and serve as a technical point of contact.

  • Automation: Develop advanced automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, or Python to streamline operational tasks and reduce manual toil.

 

Qualifications
  • Technical Experience: Strong, hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repos, Artifacts) and Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform is preferred).

  • Cloud Proficiency: Deep breadth of experience with Azure Cloud networking, RBAC, and security best practices. Familiarity with containerization (Docker, AKS) is considered a strong plus.

  • Scripting Skills: Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation and configuration management.

  • Problem Solving: Strong debugging, investigative, and root-cause analysis skills, with the ability to assimilate disparate information (log files via Azure Monitor, error messages) to resolve complex infrastructure issues.

  • Agile & Workflow: Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology and Git workflows (branching, merging, pull requests).

  • Soft Skills: Strong consulting and communication skills with a proactive attitude and ownership mindset. Demonstrated ability to work independently in an offshore setting and collaborate effectively with various organizations.

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or a comparable major.
