DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Deliver company-specific Latin America and CEEMEA equity investment solutions to institutional clients. Assist investors with investment decisions and processes. Work with internal syndicate and Equity Capital Market teams on primary deals and secondary blocks to target specific investors across North America, and collect feedback from the client base. Collaborate with other teams to cross-sell equity products, including prime services, electronic trading, and derivatives. Cover long-only and hedge fund institutional clients with potential to invest in Latin America and CEEMEA equities, and foster relationships with CIOs, COOs, and portfolio managers. Work closely with internal Latin America research analysts, strategists, economists, and sales traders to distribute and sell products and services to respective client bases. Represent the Latin America and CEEMEA Sales North American franchise at conferences, conference calls, fireside chats, and internal team events. This position requires up to 10% domestic travel and up to 10% international travel.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any), Finance, Economics, or related quantitative field of study plus 4 years of experience in the job offered or as LATAM & CEEMEA Franchise Sales, Equity Strategist, Financial Services Sales, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Analyzing company financials using CRM tools and Excel; Communicating with institutional clients regarding distribution of different investment products, including cash equities, prime services, and electronic trading; Researching, identifying and presenting needed facts to drive business decisions; Reviewing corporate financial data and current positioning to develop and recommend tailored investment strategies, including derivative hedging; Using Bloomberg to extract information to support investment ideas and technical analysis via charting; Applying risk control restrictions to communications regarding client information; Equity trading market functioning and investment instruments; Providing subject matter expertise on LATAM and CEEMEA financial laws; Researching equities in LATAM and CEEMEA regions; Utilizing alpha capture platforms; Selling Equity Capital Markets in LATAM and CEEMEA; and covering quantitative strategies and hedge fund platform complexes.
Job Location: 383 Madison Ave., New York, NY 10179. Telecommuting permitted up to 10% of the week.
Full-Time. Salary: $200,000 - $200,000 per year.
