Taager is the first B2B startup focused on social sellers- Merchants. We are democratizing the social e-commerce space by enabling budding as well as seasoned entrepreneurs to sell online with no required capital, inventory, or operational experience. We have our Merchants covered from merchandising, warehousing, shipping, cash collection and customer service.
In 2019 we started as a team of 8 people, now we are over 350 employees across Egypt, KSA and the UAE. We serve more than 34K social e-commerce sellers from incredibly diverse backgrounds – from students earning a part-time income to highly ambitious digital marketing experts looking to become solo entrepreneurs. The sellers on our platform benefit from access to 2,500+ highly marketable products. Last Mile Manager
We are looking for a talented Last Mile Manager to lead our Last Mile Manager. The role focuses on overseeing and benchmarking our partner courier companies' performance and initiating strategic solutions to address challenges. The 3PL Manager will be the main point of contact with our partners from the courier companies.
What you will be doing:
- Manage and control performance, cost and capacity of External Fulfillment Logistics provider (3PLs)
- Monitor and analyze customer experience and delivery performance.
- Develop and oversee KPIs and SLAs with 3PLs.
- Lead process improvements and cost optimization initiatives for the LM operations.
- Lead contract negotiations with our external fulfillment partner.
- Develop and maintain strong communication processes to ensure a smooth and efficient flow of accurate information across Taager’s various teams
What will make you successful:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven operations leadership experience in a similar fast-paced process driven manufacturing, production, or distribution/logistics environment
- Excellent fulfillment operations knowledge preferable in a 3PL environment
- Proven analytical thinking skills are critical to success in this position
- Business case decision-making, complex problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence effectively at all levels
- Team player who can facilitate successful project work within deadlines
- Proven track record of delivering projects within scope, time, budget and quality
- Experience with analytical tools such as data warehouse tables: SQL / Visual Basic / Power BI
