The Laserfiche Process Automation Specialist / Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated workflows, eForms, and business processes within the Laserfiche platform.
This professional collaborates closely with business units to analyze requirements, optimize operations, and ensure that Laserfiche solutions are secure, efficient, and aligned with organizational goals.
The ideal candidate combines technical expertise in Laserfiche tools with a strong focus on process improvement and automation.
Key Responsibilities:
Laserfiche Workflow and Process Development
-Design, build, and maintain Laserfiche Workflows, Business Processes, and eForms to improve efficiency.
-Configure process logic, routing rules, and automation tasks in Workflow Designer.
-Integrate Laserfiche with external systems and databases using lookups, web services, or custom scripts.
-Test, debug, and deploy workflows ensuring compliance with business and security standards.
System Configuration and Administration
-Configure and maintain templates, metadata, and folder structures for document management.
-Manage folder-level security, permissions, and retention policies to ensure compliance.
-Set up database lookups, field rules, and form logic for data validation and automation.
-Troubleshoot and resolve workflow or automation issues.
Collaboration and Documentation
-Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional Laserfiche solutions.
-Document workflows, data mappings, and configuration changes for internal reference.
-Train and support end users on workflows, forms, and repository use.
Continuous Improvement
-Monitor performance and recommend process optimizations.
-Stay updated on new Laserfiche features, modules, and best practices.
-Evaluate and implement new modules or third-party integrations.
Requirements
-Minimum 2+ years developing eForms or workflow solutions (e.g., Google Forms, Adobe -Forms, DocuSign Workflow, or similar drag-and-drop tools).
-Experience with SQL database lookups, metadata configuration, and data validation rules.
-Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
-Excellent communication abilities.
Preferred
-2+ years developing workflows and forms using Laserfiche Workflow, Forms, and Business Process modules.
-Proficiency with Laserfiche Administration Console, Template and Field Management, and Security Configuration.
-Laserfiche Certified Professional (LCP) or equivalent certification.
-Familiarity with Laserfiche SDK, C#, or JavaScript for advanced automation and integrations.
-Experience with IIS and Microsoft Entra ID integration.
-Background in regulated industries (government, education, healthcare, or finance).
-Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
Skills Required
