We are a small team of 15 people, and the team members are distributed across countries, including the Netherlands, the UK, Norway, Macedonia, Pakistan, Mexico, and Malta. We have an office in Rotterdam, Netherlands, but people can work fully remotely. Some work from home, some choose to work from a co-working place in their country, and some travel and work across the world. We are looking for a Laravel Developer to join our growing international team.
The ideal candidate has proven experience as a Laravel Developer or similar role and is passionate about building scalable, high-performance web applications. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining our content management systems, designing RESTful APIs, and contributing to architectural decisions that shape the future of the platform.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain content management systems using the Laravel PHP framework.
Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless integration with third-party services.
Optimize application performance and ensure scalability.
Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth operation of applications.
Stay updated on Laravel framework trends and best practices to continually enhance development processes.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategy.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Laravel Developer or similar role.
Proficiency in PHP programming language and Laravel framework.
Strong understanding of MVC (Model-View-Controller) architecture.
Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.
Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Vue.js or React.js.
Understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Attention to detail in managing complex systems and large amounts of product information.
Ability to adapt to changing technologies and market conditions.
