Labourer

About the role

• Team Global Express is seeking a Labourer/Dockhand to commence immediately at our Brisbane Airport Location

• This is a Full Time Permanent Role - Monday to Friday (12 PM Starts)

• The successful applicant will be eligible for 17.5% Shift loading on this roster

• Load and unload vehicles as required

• Handle freight in a manner that will avoid injury to yourself or others

• Handle freight in a manner that will prevent damage to goods in our care

• Ensure freight is sorted accurately in line with defined sort requirements

• Palletise / cage items neatly and shrink wrap as required

• Stack goods as required in a neat and safe manner

• Ensure freight is positioned on conveyors in the correct manner, ensure items are positioned so barcodes can be read where this is required

• Remove damaged cartons or containers from conveyors and repair promptly or escalate issue

• Ensure barcode scanning where required is done accurately

• Ensure documents that accompany freight are kept with the relevant freight

• Ensure freight allocated for delivery is delivered effectively and in a consistent and timely manner

• Ensure you arrive in time to start your shift at the designated start time
