  • Night shift premium of $1.50 per hour; (So, starting hourly wage at $20.00!)

Job Description

We are currently looking for motivated individuals to join our team in Montréal-Est, Quebec, from Monday to Thursday, 6:30 PM to 5:00 AM. Under the supervision of the supervisor, you will rotate through several workstations with your colleagues.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Sorting metals according to their physical and mechanical characteristics;
  • Cleaning equipment and work areas to ensure smooth operations;
  • Operating various types of machinery as needed (e.g., forklift, Bobcat, aerial work platform);
  • Actively participating in the department’s various activities;
  • Maintaining cleanliness of your workstation at all times;
  • Working safely and adhering to health and safety policies and company procedures.

Qualifications

To join our team:

  • You have knowledge of metals and experience operating a forklift (assets);
  • You are professional, practice safe behavior, and follow health and safety instructions;
  • You are in good physical condition and comfortable with repetitive tasks such as sorting metals on tables or the floor;
  • You are versatile, resourceful, and show a willingness to learn;
  • You are ready to work in an industrial environment that is dusty, noisy, and sometimes outdoors, exposed to varying temperatures;
  • You are able to wear the required personal protective equipment (mask, earplugs, goggles, helmet, coveralls);
  • You have a vehicle (please note the site is not accessible by public transportation).
