Position Details

We’re seeking a reliable and enthusiastic skilled Labourer to join our Palm Lake Construction team at Forster Lakes as we start work on our new Forster Aged Care development site. You’ll work alongside experienced tradespeople to support the building and development of our premium lifestyle homes and community facilities. This is a Full-time Fixed Term (2 years) position working 38 hours per week, between 6:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday.

Your contribution will help ensure each resort and home we build meets the high standards Palm Lake Group is known for.

Responsibilities

• Assisting tradespeople and site supervisors with general construction duties;

• Performing site clean up, material handling, and general labour tasks;

• Loading and unloading building materials safely and efficiently;

• Operating basic tools and equipment under supervision;

• Maintaining a clean, organised, and hazard free worksite;

• Following safety procedures and reporting hazards or incidents promptly;

• Supporting construction and display home preparation as required;

• Other duties as directed by site supervisors or project managers;

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:

• A White Card (Construction Induction) - essential
• A current driver's licence & reliable transport - essential
• Licenced and experienced in operating a telehandler / manitou - essential 

• A strong work ethic and a commitment to quality outcomes.

• Experience in construction or labouring (preferred but not essential).

• Ability to follow directions and work effectively within a team.

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
